Matheson specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. The company is also the nation's largest distributor of dry ice blasting equipment. Matheson maintains a reliable network of 40 dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Matheson can quickly react to customers' needs. Matheson is looking for a team member for our manufacturing plant. Our team members are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety. This position is a 12 hour shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
Essential functions: Able to frequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending. Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment. Demonstrated ability to work on a team. Attention to detail with a focus on quality. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
Experience required/preferred: 1-3 years. Desired food safety experience. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to speak up and do what is right, and have the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work. Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safe work practices.
