Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $20$26/hr
1st Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to assemble small to medium-sized metal components using hand and power tools. This role involves reading blueprints, verifying specifications, and performing quality checks to ensure precise assembly. Assemblers will alternate between sitting and standing while loading and unloading workpieces and maintaining equipment in a clean, efficient manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble metal components using hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
Prepare work by gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials
Inspect parts for proper fit, alignment, and quality
Verify specifications using measuring tools
Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Track and maintain supplies and materials inventory
Required Qualifications
1+ year of mechanical assembly experience
in a manufacturing environment
1+ year of blueprint reading experience
1+ year of hand and power tool experience
Ability to bend, lift, and alternate between sitting and standing throughout the shift
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
rivet guns
Experience in sheet metal assembly or fabrication

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
