How you'll make an impact in this role
Manage the patient journey by greeting patients, taking vitals, collecting medical history, and proactively assisting providers during examinations and procedures.
Provide clear, supportive follow-up by updating patients on test results and discussing health-related questions as directed by the provider.
Maintain a safe and pristine environment by cleaning and preparing treatment rooms.
Drive efficiency by managing critical administrative workflows, including charting, addressing patient questions, and processing referrals and prior authorizations.
What minimum requirements you'll need
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional preferences we're seeking
1 year of medical assistant experience.
