Involved in the entire course of manufacturing. May inspect components before assembly, analyze trial products during development, or test finished goods. Record and analyze the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products. Solve production issues and recommend improvements. Other duties may include preparing inspection plans, training staff, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
