Electronics Assembly Quality Inspector

The Electronics Assembly Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. This role supports production by identifying defects, verifying workmanship, and ensuring products comply with specifications prior to shipment or further assembly.
Inspect PCB boards and electronic sub-assemblies for defects such as solder issues, misaligned components, missing parts, and workmanship errors
Perform visual inspections using microscopes, magnifiers, and inspection tools
Verify assemblies meet engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and quality standards
Document inspection results, defects, and non-conformances accurately
Work closely with production, assemblers, and engineers to resolve quality issues
Conduct in-process and final inspections at various stages of assembly
Ensure compliance with IPC standards, company quality procedures, and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
Experience inspecting PCB boards and electronic sub-assemblies preferred
Knowledge of electronic components, soldering standards, and assembly processes
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 or similar quality standards (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FORT WALTON BEACH, FL.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
