2nd Shift - Machine Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our 2nd shift to ensure the efficient operation of our machinery. The role involves adhering to operating procedures, loading materials into machines, performing machine setup, die changes, and changeovers with some light computer work. You will be responsible for pulling finished products off the machine, stacking them on pallets, and preparing pallets for forklift transportation. Adjusting machine settings to meet job specifications and maximize productivity is essential.
Responsibilities
Adhere to operating procedures and instructions.
Load materials into machines such as punch press and cookie cutter machinery.
Perform machine setup, die changes, and changeovers with light computer work.
Pull finished products off the machine and stack them on pallets.
Wrap pallets and prepare them for forklift transport.
Adjust machine settings to meet job specifications and maximize productivity.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and safe workstation by following the shop 5S system.
Accurately record labor and material usage in the ERP system.
Work with fiberglass/insulation, adhering to safety protocols and using provided PPE.
Collaborate in teams of two or work independently on certain machines.
Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
Essential Skills
1+ year of manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in machine operation.
Experience in assembly, inspection, and packing.
Ability to perform machine setup.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with fiberglass or insulation.
Automotive experience.

Work Environment
Work the 2nd shift from 4 pm to 2 am, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. Enjoy two 10-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute paid break without needing to clock out. Safety protocols are in place, especially when working with fiberglass and insulation, and all necessary PPE is provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
