Trystar's team members are our most important asset, we are in search of a Powder Coat Painter for our Fabrication. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar's Powder Coat Painter position is an important part of Trystar's plan to become the world's foremost custom solution provider.
The Powder Coat Painter proficiently prepares and paints products in a safe manner necessary to manufacture quality cable products within a high-volume cable manufacturing environment.

In This Role You Will Get To:
Understand job orders and interact with Epicor.
Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
Understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set-up, take apart, troubleshoot, and to operate paint equipment.
Powder coat parts per customer's specifications
Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
One year experience in Powder Coating or Paint
Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors prior to powder coating
Must wear a respirator on a frequent basis while painting
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
Additional Qualifications
High school diploma required, and technical secondary education is preferred.
Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 2:00am
