
Cleaning Staff - The Gorge

Job Title
The Gorge is seeking a Cleaning Staff to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience.
This position is responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment. Responsibilities include routine and deep cleaning of facilities, proper handling of cleaning equipment and supplies, and following established safety, health, and sanitation procedures to support the venue's operational standards and overall business goals.
Facility Sanitation & Waste Management
Maintain Pristine Guest Areas: Ensure all guest-facing zones are strictly free of trash, food debris, and litter; execute immediate response to human spills and liquid hazards to ensure a safe, slip-free environment.
High-Standard Restroom Care: Clean and deep-disinfect all restroom fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors, and walls; monitor and restock paper materials and hygiene products on a continuous rotation.
Surface & Debris Control: Keep all public areas, walkways, and seating sections neat and orderly; clean equipment daily and assist with specialized deep-cleaning duties as assigned.
Post-Event & Recovery: Partner with team members at show-end to clear the venue of all refuse; includes collecting recyclables from lawn/reserved sections and sanitizing event equipment before storage.
Sustainability & Safety Compliance
Sustainability Leadership: Actively participate in the venue's "CARE" program by sorting waste, collecting recyclables, and preventing resource waste.
Hazard Detection: Proactively identify and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual safety situations to supervision.
Regulatory Adherence: Maintain 100% compliance with safety regulations, ensuring all cleaning chemicals and tools are stored and used according to OSHA or local guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Previous cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred (training provided if needed)
Ability to work independently and stay motivated with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
Ability to perform physical job duties, including constant walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to follow proper chemical handling and sanitation procedures
Valid driver's license required
