Job Description
Snelling Staffing is hiring Production Packers for a manufacturing company in Caldwell, TX. This company produces high-quality aluminum products used in construction, automotive, and consumer goods industries.
This is a hands-on role in a production environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are very important.
Position Details
Pay: $13.50 per hour Location: Caldwell, TX Shift: Day Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM
6:00 PM Type of work: Full-time, temp-to-hire
Position Summary
The Production Packer will be responsible for inspecting, handling, packing, labeling, and preparing aluminum products for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Inspect aluminum products for defects, imperfections, or quality issues
Pack products using protective materials to prevent damage during transport
Label packages with product details, customer information, and shipping instructions
Handle aluminum materials safely, by hand or with equipment as needed
Operate packing equipment, strapping tools, or other basic production equipment
Maintain the packing area clean, organized, and safe
Work with production, quality control, and shipping teams to maintain workflow
Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment
Requirements
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, packing, or production is preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic math and measurement skills are preferred
Ability to read work orders, labels, and instructions
Reliable attendance and transportation
Experience with forklifts is a plus but not required
Bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage
Must pass a background check and drug test
Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing plant with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and temperature changes
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift
