Career Detail Specialty
Trinity TankCar, Inc. is hiring a Career Detail Specialty in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All.
Prepares and applies detailing with paint, decals or stencils. Operates specialized paint and metal surface application equipment and measuring tools. Mixes and applies alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula. Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
Performs at Level 1 plus
Applies decals (must have mobile equipment certification)
Repairs exterior paint
Operates scissor lift (or scaffold)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
Previous experience in rail or steel manufacturing industry is a plus!
