Pipeline Welder
Safely performs welding and all duties associated with the construction, maintenance and operations of company pipeline, compressor, production, gathering and storage facilities. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Nothing in this job summary restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. This is a regular full-time position.
Minimum qualifications:
Associate degree in welding, welding certificate or equivalent work experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills.
Valid motor vehicle driver's license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements.
Ability to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Other requirements:
Protect networks devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
Legally authorized to work in United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment background check and drug testing.
Subject to the company DOT substance testing program.
Travel with overnight stays.
Pass company welder qualification test or be currently qualified.
Certified to wear respirator if required to perform work.
Pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
Ability to work independently.
Preferred qualifications:
Welding certificate.
Crane certificate.
Knowledge of natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities, processes and operations including related DOT and OSHA regulations.
Job responsibilities:
Perform welding duties.
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Journeyman rate: $46.56.
