Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist
The Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist works under general supervision to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include an A. A. in an approved Medical Laboratory Technician program including clinical training in an approved hospital MLT program or B.S. in an approved Medical Laboratory Scientist program from an accredited MLS program including clinical training. Board of Registry certification as MLT/MLS is required.
No bench experience required. This level includes all Technologists/Technicians with less than three years of generalist experience; and all part-time technologists.
Preferred background includes previous experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a medical group setting.
Work Schedule
Rotating weekly schedule.
Week 1 - Monday - Thursday 7:45AM - 3:30PM, Friday 7:45AM - 4:45/5:00PM
Week 2 - Monday - Thursday 7:30AM-4:00PM, Friday 7:30AM - 2:00PM
Week 3 - Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 4:30/5:00PM, Friday 7:30AM - 12:00PM
