Location: 365 Haacke Drive, Chestertown, MD 21620
Salary Range: $16-$17.50 per hour

Work Hours:

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling with a minimum of 15 hours per week and at least 3 hours per shift. You can choose your start time, as long as your schedule remains consistent week to week.

The Dixon Group is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time Assembler to join their Boss Division in Chestertown, MD!

In this hands-on position, you will play a key role in producing high-quality sand-cast hose clamps through high-volume manual assembly. If you enjoy consistent, repetitive work and take pride in meeting daily production goals, this could be the perfect fit.

What You'll Do:
Manually assemble Dixon Boss Clamps, ensuring proper orientation and the precise assembly of nuts and bolts.
Maintain clear communication with team members on the manufacturing floor
Work safely around tools, equipment, and co-workers
Lean to operate hand tools and basic machining equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Keep your workspace clean, organized, and production ready
Communicate with employees on manufacturing floor

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required (current high school students are welcome to apply)
Strong finger and hand dexterity for manipulating small parts
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to stand for extended periods
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic math skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to lift and maneuver components up to 50lbs throughout the shift
Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
