Dry Cleaning Plant Operator
Safely operate the equipment used in the dry cleaning plant such as the utility press, coat tensioner, lapel press, pant utility press, pant topper, puff iron, Nt-2, shirt utility press for boys, dry cleaning, and laundry machines. Handle and sort cleaned garments as necessary. Advise management of any breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately to ensure good routine preventive maintenance on all equipment. Work in all areas of production as needed. Performs other related duties and assignments as required. 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in distribution center and work in all areas of tuxedo production. Have the ability to learn to read and understand picking tickets. Have the ability to learn to and use R/F (Radio Frequency) Scanner. The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Must be customer oriented. The ability to learn new skills and follow directions. Must be detail and deadline oriented. Must be able to work overtime during peak season. Must be able to work Saturdays as needed. Must be able to lift 30 to 50lbs (some tasks may require repetitive lifting of 30 to 50 lbs.). Good communication skills. Basic math, counting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn basic computer skills. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
