Pack Line Operator Second Shift Steel Slitting Facility Pro Resources is partnering with New Process Steel in Butler to hire an experienced Pack Line Operator for a second shift opportunity in a steel slitting environment. This is a great chance to join a stable company known as a leader in steel processing and distribution. Shift is Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. In this role, the operator will be responsible for banding slit coils, placing coils onto pallets, wrapping coils with protective materials, and staging finished coils for shipment when needed. The position also includes inspecting incoming coils for visible defects according to customer requirements and reporting any issues to the team leader. The operator will run the down layer, remove damaged ID tails, and monitor the automatic bander to ensure the correct number of bands are applied. The semi-automatic bander may also be used when necessary. The operator will review packaging instructions with the coordinator, remove slit coils from the conveyor using a jib crane, and prepare pallets with proper runner protection. Packaging may include VCI bags or other customer specific wrapping requirements. The role also involves banding coils securely to pallets using automated or manual banding equipment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial production environment. #Auburn
