Sawmill Clean Up/Firewatch - Lumber

Weyerhaeuser's Montana Wood Products is currently looking to fill a Clean Up position at our Kalispell Lumber facility. Our manufacturing facilities are highly automated and utilize many leading-edge technologies in the wood products industry. Hourly Pay Rate $25.61/hr
Key Functions:
Keep all areas of the production line clean and free of hazards.
Blow down machinery and workstations, empty dumpsters, empty bins and pick-up debris on catwalks and floor.
Operate hi-vac propane vacuum to clean under and around areas.
Operate a forklift, front end loader, skid steer or various other types of equipment for cleanup purposes, as necessary.
Use a fire hose when needed for wash down.
Work with millwrights doing Firewatch and clean-up in area of hot works.
Relieve and fill in for employees on breaks, temporary absences, vacation, or sick leave.
Specific Skills:
Demonstrate team player skills in working with co-workers and supervisors.
Must have good performance, safety and attendance records.
Must demonstrate good communication skills.
Must have ability to identify, communicate potential problems, and work to solve them.
Proven ability to work without direct supervision.
Demonstrate ability to work safely and care for tools and equipment.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends and rotate between jobs when needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of general labor experience preferred.
Forklift Certification strongly preferred.
All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
Resume detailing education and work history is required for consideration.
Documented work history.
Exhibit good performance, safety and attendance record.
Willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills.
Good communication skills.
Must be team oriented.
Willingness to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, nights and rotating.
Willingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
Able to perform basic math and basic computer skills.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, stooping, bending and exertion of more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds continuously to move objects.
