Shipping & Receiving Material Handler
Immediately hiring! Starting pay $24.98/hr!!! 1st shift, Monday to Friday
6:00AM-2:30PM, OT and weekends as needed.
This position requires the use of, or access to, information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Accordingly, only U.S. citizens, green card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. As a Shipping and Receiving Material handler, you will respond to customer inquiries. In this role, you are a crucial part of the customer relationship as you troubleshoot customer issues. You will maintain up to date inventory records, retrieve stored data, and reply to inquiries about inventory levels and delivery schedules. We offer competitive benefits and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products.
Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
Frequently reports to a Shipping / Receiving Supervisor.
Maintain inventory records using computerized system.
Qualifications
MS office and prior SAP experience is preferred. Previous warehouse experience highly preferred. Previous forklift experience/certification preferred. Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures, and business-related correspondence.
