What you will do:
The Production Lead is responsible for keeping the production and milk receiving areas in a safe, sanitary and efficient work order.
Here's a day in the life:
Complex Problem Solving - Identifying Complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Dairy Science
Understands the components of milk, starter bacteria, and other ingredients, and the processing of making dairy products to a specification
Statistical Process Control
Understands basic statistics and their application in understanding a process and how it is responding to correction
Physics
Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships
Systems Evaluation
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system

Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

Equipment maintenance
Performing basic routine maintenance on equipment and determine when other maintenance is need

High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years of Food Manufacturing Experience
Prior Lead experience or education preferred
