Description
This individual works independently most often without direct supervision and is responsible for performing a variety of inspection procedures including lab inspection and use of the Taylor Hobson probes, etc. and must be capable of planning and executing much of their own work. Essential functions of the job:
Must have experience and be adept with using a wide variety of measuring instruments such as, but not limited to micrometers, dial indicators, torque and radial clearance gages, verniers, etc.
Must be able to keep appropriate records and report discrepancies to either the Supervisor or Lead.
This individual must keep their work area(s) in a neat and clean fashion and will periodically move parts from one department to another. Education: High School or Technical High School diploma Experience: Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred Skills / Certifications: Ability to use a variety of gages and read blue prints RBC Bearings offers a competitive benefit package.
