Position Overview
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is critical to ensuring a positive client experience while supporting the medical team through accurate communication, scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital, including emergency settings.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and by phone
Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and manage the daily calendar
Answer multi-line phones, route calls appropriately, and handle client inquiries
Process payments, invoices, and medical records accurately
Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
Handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist, medical receptionist, or customer service professional preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency; experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
