Caregiver Position
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to assist a bedbound, non-smoking elderly male client in the Pinch/Elkview area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing total care and committed to ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the client.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with all personal care needs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Turning and repositioning to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown
Utilizing a Hoyer lift safely for transfers
Preparing simple, nutritious meals
Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment
Providing companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
Experience with Hoyer lift required
Previous experience with total assist or bedbound patients preferred
Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Ability to work multiple shifts (daytime, evening, or weekend availability preferred)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Must have own transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years old to apply
