1+ year of Auto Body school or hands-on industrial painting experience to lead our heavy-equipment finishing is a requirement.
1st Shift: Typically 6:00 am

2:00 pm (Monday

Friday) with flexibility for 7:00 am

3:00 pm or 8:00 am

4:00 pm starts.
Off-Shift Availability: 2nd Shift (+$1.00/hr differential) and 3rd Shift (+$2.00/hr differential) are also available.
Pay is up to $27.00 per hour based on experience level plus Profit Sharing and comprehensive incentives.

Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder.
No remote as this is a 100% onsite position.
Full-time, permanent W-2 employee.
Located in the Duluth, MN area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform high-quality surface preparation, including professional-grade sanding, masking, and cleaning of large-scale industrial components
Mix industrial coatings and primers to exact specifications, ensuring optimal drying times, finish hardness, and long-term corrosion resistance
Operate advanced spray equipment and precision touch-up tools to apply protective and aesthetic finishes to heavy-duty machinery
Execute final detailing, including the accurate placement and application of vinyl cut graphics and decals onto finished parts
Utilize overhead cranes and forklifts to safely move and position massive components for the preparation and painting process
Maintain a high-efficiency workspace by managing painting consumables and performing routine maintenance on booth equipment
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet production deadlines while adhering to 5S cleanliness and safety protocols
Qualifications

1 or more years of Auto Body school or equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial or automotive painting environment
Technical proficiency in paint mixing and a deep understanding of application processes for industrial-grade coatings
A "quality-first" mindset with the ability to perform precision work on large-scale machinery
Physical capability to wear a respirator (standard medical clearance is required) and work in an active manufacturing setting
