Day Shift
This role supports a high-speed food production facility by stacking, boxing, and palletizing products on the production line. You will handle packaged goods and empty glass bottles, load and unload products into machines, and help keep the production area clean and organized while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The position requires consistent physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team on a busy production line.
Responsibilities
Work on production lines to box and stack food products according to established procedures.
Load boxes weighing approximately 1520 pounds onto the front of production machines and remove finished boxes from the end of the line.
Open boxes of empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines to move through the full manufacturing process.
Palletize finished boxes by stacking them neatly and securely onto pallets and wrapping them for shipment or storage.
Operate as part of a high-speed production line, coordinating tasks with team members to maintain steady workflow.
Use pallet jacks and other basic warehouse tools to move pallets and materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift, following all cleanliness and sanitation requirements.
Follow all GMP practices and quality guidelines while handling food products and packaging.
Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with coworkers and communicate effectively to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
Remain on your feet for 1012 hour shifts, performing repetitive tasks safely and consistently.
Report any quality or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift and handle boxes weighing approximately 1520 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to stand and remain on your feet for 1012 hour shifts, depending on the production line.
Ability to work effectively on a high-speed production line in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a production team.
Capability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse and production setting.
Ability to follow all GMP practices and food safety guidelines.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area during the shift.
Comfort working around strong food-related smells such as garlic, jalapeos, salsa, and taco sauce.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in warehouse, production, or general labor roles is beneficial.
Background as a production worker, production line worker, or stacker is an advantage.
Familiarity with palletizing, packing, and working with pallet jacks is helpful.
Willingness to learn how to operate different lines and machinery over time.
Comfort working alongside a diverse team, including colleagues who primarily speak Spanish or Haitian Creole.

Work Environment
This position is based in a busy food manufacturing and warehouse environment. The facility does not have air conditioning or heating, so it can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer, with additional heat coming from nearby machinery. You will work 10- or 12-hour shifts, depending on the production line, and should be comfortable standing for long periods and working around up to 160200 people during peak season. The environment includes strong food-related smells such as garlic, jalapeos, salsa, and taco sauce. Personal protective equipment is required due to the food manufacturing setting; gloves, hair nets, beard nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses are provided. You must supply your own steel-toe boots. Temporary workers are required to wear royal blue shirts, which are provided at the start of employment. You will work on lines with approximately 1020 coworkers, often in a multilingual environment where many colleagues speak Spanish or Haitian Creole. The facility provides lockers with locks for personal belongings and a break room equipped with microwaves and vending machines for meals and breaks.
