Core Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership:
Act as a primary point of contact for residents and families, ensuring the highest standards of 5-star care are met.
Comprehensive Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and clinical-grade documentation of assessments and interventions.
Order Oversight:
Efficiently transcribe physician orders to MARs and oversee the pharmacy notification process for new or adjusted treatments.
Medication Administration:
Safely prepare and administer medications and complex treatments as ordered by physicians.
Unit Management:
Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes resident safety and dignity.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with the Director of Nursing and therapy teams to update and implement individualized resident care plans.
Qualifications
Licensure:
Must possess an active and unrestricted
Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Wisconsin.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead a team and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
Previous long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred, but we welcome dedicated nurses who are passionate about geriatric care.
