Class A CDL Driver
United Talent Staffing is currently seeking a Class A CDL Driver for a company in Parkersburg, WV. Responsibilities include safely operating a variety of trucks, including forklifts, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks. Must be able to drive standard and automatic trucks, load and unload materials and equipment from trucks, transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner, follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery, inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition, adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck, and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Shift & Salary: starting at $20 per hour Monday-Friday 7:00am start time-end time depends on route. Expected hours: no less than 40 per week.
Requirements include a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with appropriate endorsements, a valid & updated DOT physical, a clean driving record with no major violations or accidents, proven experience as a truck driver or similar role, ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines, physical stamina to load and unload heavy materials, and good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues. Must pass background check and drug screening and motor vehicle record.
Perks & Benefits include home daily, referral bonus ($40 for 40 hours completed, $100 for 100 hours completed), possible retention bonuses, possible annual bonuses, medical (after 60 days on assignment), and weekly pay via direct deposit or paycard.
