Welder - 2nd Shift

Welder / Fabricator
You will be welding in a custom metal fabrication shop to complete welding work on structural materials, equipment frameworks, modular data storage systems, frameworks, and various other products for the material handling industry. You will be working from blueprints and weld symbols to fit and weld parts to specifications. The majority of projects will be built out of mild steel and could include materials ranging from 1/4" to 3"+ in thickness. Future state, you will also be given the opportunity to obtain welding certifications through the company.
Responsibilities:
Work from blueprints and weld symbols to build both custom and production parts
MIG and FCAW weld mild steel weldments
Grind and inspect finished weldments
Use overhead cranes to move and rotate weldments
Maintain a clean and organized work area and support a safe working environment.
Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available (4X10's + OT on Friday)
Requirements:
1-2+ years of welding experience OR welding degree required
Ability to work from blueprints and weld symbols
Experience using overhead cranes and hoists preferred but not required

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitelaw, WI.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
