In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full-time Rollomatic Grinding Operator to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN.
The Rollomatic Grinding Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Rollomatic CNC grinding machines to manufacture high-precision components used in medical devices. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, quality control protocols, and regulatory guidelines applicable to the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Rollo Matic CNC grinders for production of medical-grade components (e.g., surgical tools, orthopedic pins, guide wires)

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications

Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments

Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements are met

Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalate complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed

Document production data, lot traceability, and inspection results per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and internal quality policies

Maintain clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety

The floater is expected to work a flex schedule: First shift is from 7AM

3:30PM CST while second shift is scheduled 3:30PM

12:00AM CST with overtime as needed.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience operating Rollo Matic CNC grinders or other high-precision CNC equipment
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasion

Visual acuity required for close inspection and fine work

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety protocols
