Warehouse Operator/Relief Driver
United Talent Staffing is immediately seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Operator/Relief Driver in the Atlanta area. Key responsibilities include driving a box truck to deliver goods to designated locations, loading and unloading the truck at stops, using provided equipment for efficient loading and unloading, performing warehouse tasks when not driving, following all safety guidelines and protocols, and using ELD. Requirements include previous driving experience, forklift certification or experience, ability to operate a pallet jack, capability of lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50lbs consistently, possession of a DOT Medical Card, maintaining a clean and clear driving record, and experience with a hand-held PDA device.
Pay & shift: $20.00/hour, overtime eligible. Working hours may vary depending on the scheduled routes, typically departing between 6:30am and 7:45am. The position requires 2-3 overnights per week, which may vary week-by-week depending on the route. Monday-Friday, Saturdays are required once a month for inventory purposes.
Additional benefits include a cell phone allowance of $5.00/day when driving (not eligible for days working in the warehouse), travel advance provided to cover all expenses before traveling, referral bonus, possible retention bonuses, possible annual bonuses, medical (after 60 days on assignment), and weekly pay via direct deposit or paycard.
