Supporting Workers Comp Department
Performing customer service and administrative support duties in accordance with established procedures, instructions, and work routines. Performs data input, extraction, analysis, and development in support of departmental functions. Reports to the Department Manager. Maintains internal contact with all departments, and executive management and external contact with Suppliers and Customers.
Essential Functions and Duties
Perform general administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, answering main line phone line, and assisting with flow of mail, correspondence, and filing needs.
Manage all incoming mainline door calls; greet and assist injured workers.
Copy, fax, and scan records as required.
Forward emails and documents to the designated Claims Analyst/Examiner and Claims Manager
Provide initial claim forms to injured workers; make transportation arrangements and doctor appointments.
Administer travel and timekeeping slips; send to stakeholders as required.
Email documents via designated secure platform.
Perform record archiving/scanning tasks as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Observe and support health, safety, and environmental policy.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Positive, professional, and pleasant demeanor, willingness to learn.
High School graduate with a minimum of two (2) years in customer service, general office functions, and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and/or other personal computer software applications.
Excellent typing/keyboard skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsible for providing accurate and efficient administrative, customer service and document control as assigned. Results are related to the quality and timeliness of achieving project goals and ability to develop, implement, and/or adhere to processes that maximize productiveness and throughput.
