Bellman/Driver Position

Pay $15.00 per hour
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age Reports to: Bell Captain/Front Office Manager
As a Bellman/Driver, you will greet and assist guests as needed and offer assistance with luggage, directions, activities or rides to other areas of the resort.
Responsibilities include:
Escort incoming guests to rooms.
Assist guests with luggage.
Inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order, and that supplies are adequate.
Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc.
Offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
Deliver messages and run errands.
Transport guests about property on van or golf cart.
Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
Qualifications

Personal Skills
MUST HAVE A CLASS E DRIVER'S LICENSE
Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Demonstrate a consistent high standard of customer service and hospitality
Ability to accurately report information.
Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
Consistently maintains positive demeanor.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
Actively listens to others.
If driving, a Missouri Class E license is required.
Physical Requirements
Minimum lifting & pulling of 25 pounds.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
Hearing, writing, typing.
May be required to undergo drug and/or alcohol test
