Furnace Operator Night Shift
Heat Treat Facility Location: Fremont IN
Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Pay: $18 per hour
About the Position:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Furnace Operator to join our team at our heat-treating facility in Fremont IN. In this role you will be responsible for operating production furnaces, monitoring heat treating processes, and ensuring finished parts meet customer quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate industrial furnaces and related heat treat equipment
Load and unload racks of metal parts safely and efficiently
Monitor temperatures and process settings throughout each cycle
Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or furnace experience preferred but training is available for the right candidate
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable attendance is required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
