Material Handler Fabrication Department
Transport supplies, parts and product as required in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining accurate inventory counts and documentation.
Essential duties include:
Coordinate with Supervisor/Lead to ensure timely set-ups in order to avoid or minimize down-time.
Organize, store, and transport parts and supplies as needed and complete all corresponding paperwork.
Maintain accurate inventory. Report shortages/overages and supply needs to Supervisor
Operate forklift
Complete all transactions within Oracle accurately and in a timely manner
Assist Operators in delivering parts in order to maximize department efficiency
Remove and distribute empty pallets and baskets as needed
Place parts in proper location and clearly write on router
Non-essential job functions include:
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements include:
Ability to operate a forklift and be forklift certified. (Forklift experience preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and understand)
Ability to prioritize work with minimal direction
Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management skills
Physical requirements include:
Submit to a visual acuity exam.
Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
Push/pull up to 25 lbs
Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
Operate forklift for long periods
