Mechanical Assembler
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling mechanical structures, such as valves, coils, and other large mechanical parts. You will work collaboratively with a team to install components like bus ducts, air handlers, cable trays, pipes, and sheet metal into oversized modules. This role involves working at an assembly station, performing 90% mechanical assembly and 10% electrical tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of structural parts, valves, and coils.
Install components such as bus ducts, air handlers, cable trays, pipes, and sheet metal into large modules.
Conduct basic electrical assembly, including wire pulling and installation of bus bars and ducting.
Read and interpret blueprints, BOM, P&IDs, and work instructions, and relay information to the team.
Engage in repetitive, fast-paced work in a team setting.
Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical assembly, specifically with valves, coils, and large mechanical parts.
Proficiency with hand tools such as drills, caulking guns, grinders, torque wrenches, levels, and measuring tapes.
Familiarity with machines like large band saws, pipe bevellers, and magnetic drills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with concrete flooring and open bay doors. The environment is non-climate controlled, with frequent movement of forklifts and overhead cranes. Be comfortable working in proximity to welders if at certain locations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
