Executive Assistant
Reporting directly to the SVP
Development, the Executive Assistant will provide high-level, proactive and confidential administrative support to the Americas Materials Development team. This role requires exceptional organizational judgment, strong written and presentation skills and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment. The Executive Assistant serves as a critical partner to the SVP and the broader Development team, enabling efficient execution across acquisitions, divestitures, capital investments and ad hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced, diverse and confidential administrative support to the SVP
Development and their teams
Provide back-up support and assistance for other Executive Assistants within the Atlanta office
Keep executive leaders informed and follow up on all assignments in a timely, effective and efficient manner
Heavy executive calendaring
Extensive travel planning
domestic (remote areas of the U.S. as well as large cities) and international
Prepare and edit presentations
Maintain pipeline of acquisitions and divestitures
Maintain Development function process and work expectations guide
Liaise with HR to support new hires with training agendas, materials, onboarding needs
On and off-site meeting planning and support
including all logistics (catering, agenda, facilities, communications, transportation)
Attend specific department meetings and document meeting minutes
Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting and projects
Interact with high-level executive and administrative assistants across the organization
Prepare expense reports
Serve as a go-to person at corporate headquarters for information and executive office related issues
Organizes and maintains electronic filing systems
Review and submit invoices to accounts payable
Administer and maintain relevant subscriptions
Assist with personal matters from time to time
Support with CRH locations management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Required
10+ years of experience in a large publicly traded company
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Ability to think strategically and proactively
Strong multi-tasking skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time/other constraints
Possesses a high degree of autonomy and judgment
Works well in stressful or challenging situations
Agility to switch gears comfortably
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Experienced in dealing with all levels within an organization
Internationally and multi-culturally savvy
Customer-focused

Takes initiative/solution-oriented/enjoys challenges
Possesses a strong business sense and understands a large corporate structure
Has worked for a company with 10,000+ employees, preferably publicly-held

Advanced ability in the MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

May require sitting for extended periods of time
May require periodic lifting objects with lifting support available
