Hiring a Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Camp Hill, PA!
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating a sit down forklift to move, store, and handle wire materials. This role involves unloading incoming shipments, putting away product, and assisting with wire cutting as needed. Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety are essential.
Responsibilities:
Operate a sit down forklift to load, unload, and transport wire materials throughout the warehouse.
Put away wire and related materials into designated storage locations.
Unload inbound shipments and verify materials against documentation.
Assist with cutting wire to specified lengths when required.
Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization.
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues.
Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
Essential Skills:
Prior forklift operating experience required (propane preferred).
Ability to safely handle and maneuver wire materials.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
Minimum 2 years of shipping experience in distribution and logistics.
Shift:
Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm)
Pay:
$19/hour (after 3 months - pay raise to $19.50)
