2nd Shift QA Lab Technician
Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Tempe, AZ Schedule: Monday
Friday | 8:00 PM
4:30 AM Pay Rate: $27/hr
Duties:
Sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results
Ensure that daily records are kept and maintained
Perform data entry, tracking, and interpretation
Follow QC hold procedures for out-of-specification products
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Assist in maintaining a 5S rating of "A"
Be flexible with working hours as needed
Perform equipment calibration and troubleshooting
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Meet daily with supervisor to review production-related issues
Monitor all CCP records and frequencies
Follow up on product concerns and communicate with production teams
Manage product specifications
Maintain and implement policies and procedures related to GMPs, food safety, and regulatory compliance
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; 35 years of laboratory experience preferred
Knowledge of microbiological, physical, chemical, and organoleptic testing
Strong understanding of food safety, GMPs, and regulatory compliance
Experience with HACCP principles
Ability to evaluate trends from test results and communicate findings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Windows-based computer programs
Experience with lab equipment and maintenance
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Dependable with strong time management skills
