Patient Care Techs provide personal care; health-related services; and assist with activities of daily living. Patient Care Techs function under the direction; instruction; and supervision of nursing staff. Patient Care Techs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives; and continuing education.

Communication and public relation skills.
Obtain manual or electronic vital signs.
Work with therapeutic equipment.

Collaborate care with nurses and report patient concerns promptly.
Ability to follow safety guidelines.
Ensures excellent time and attendance.
Ability to handle confidential information and follow HIPAA Compliance.
Maintain professional appearance at all times.
