We need caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults in Northwest Indiana with activities of daily living, in their homes or care facilities. Opportunities available for a caregiver in Northwest Indiana that speaks Spanish.
Duties typically include: Companionship and conversation, Meal preparation and light housekeeping, Medication reminders, Dressing and grooming, Transferring and positioning, Bathing and showering. Requirements include: A minimum of 1-year experience caring for a senior or adult, Ability to competently perform assigned tasks, Good communication skills, Warmth and compassion for people under your care, Completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen, Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Basic English required.
Caregiver Benefits: Flexible scheduling, Annual pay increases, Paid on the job training, in-services, and online. The following skills and qualifications are preferred, but not required: NO certification required; however, we commensurate pay for licensed CNA, HHA, and DSP certifications and experience.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
