Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT procedures according to radiology protocols, prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters, administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations, observe patients during procedures, and follow radiation safety guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Required: Current ARRT certification in Radiography or CT. Required: Radiologic Technologist credentialed by Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) prior to hire. Required: BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Required: CT specialty credential — NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) obtained prior to hire, or CNMT plus NMTCB(CT) pathway where applicable. Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography or relevant imaging program. Clinical experience performing CT procedures. (Client requires CT experience; minimum years not specified.) Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and monitor patients according to facility protocols. Ability to follow radiation safety policies and recommend protocol refinements as warranted. Preferred: Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty credentials. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Primary specialty: Computed Tomography Technologist. Shift: Nights. Shift hours: 1900–03:30. Start: 13-week assignment beginning in May 2026. Candidate must be able to prepare and administer contrast media and medications within applicable state and federal regulations.
