Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,850 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of image acquisition, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience with references. Client requires at least 2 years previous IR experience and travel experience (preferred). American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. Graduate from an AMA‑approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program. BLS certification required. State radiologic technologist license for WI required. Familiarity with GE imaging systems preferred. Ability to float onsite within skill set and to other sites within a 40‑mile radius if needed. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital Primary Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Shift Name: Days Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30 Call: department call based on needs; currently approximately one half‑day during the week and every fourth weekend when staffing allows; rotating holidays. Start: assignment begins May 2026; 13‑week assignment. Location Highlights Milwaukee, WI offers a mix of urban and waterfront activities within short commutes. The lakefront along Lake Michigan and Milwaukee RiverWalk are within city limits and provide waterfront recreation and dining options, with downtown attractions such as the Milwaukee Art Museum approximately a 5–15 minute drive from central neighborhoods. The nearby Henry Maier Festival Park hosts summer festivals including Summerfest, and the Harley‑Davidson Museum is located about 5–10 minutes from downtown, supporting an urban, cultural lifestyle. Outdoor options include a roughly 45–60 minute drive to Kettle Moraine State Forest for hiking and mountain biking, and about a 90–120 minute drive to the shores and dunes of Door County for coastal small‑town experiences. Public transit is available via Milwaukee County Transit System buses, and General Mitchell International Airport is approximately 15–20 minutes from downtown for regional travel.
