Youll work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver personalized, high-quality care to residents in a welcoming and team-oriented setting.
What Youll Do
Carry out individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Track and document patient progress, maintaining accuracy for clinical and billing requirements.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
Monitor patient changes and report promptly to the supervising therapist.
Support interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal standards of care.
What Were Looking For
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current
COTA license
in good standing (State of California).
CPR certification
(or ability to obtain before start).
Knowledge of Medicare and other payer documentation standards.
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and teamwork.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift over 100 lbs with assistance.
Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and standing as part of patient care.
Must meet facility health requirements, including a pre-employment physical.
