Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Water & Wastewater (W-WW) Technical Expert
to join our team and help expand our W-WW practice. This is a strategic role that blends business development, project execution, and leadership in both water treatment and conveyance systems.
Location: Based in any of the 7 offices in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary leader and technical expert for the firm's W-WW projects, focusing on both treatment and conveyance systems
Act as a
seller-doer , leading business development efforts, maintaining strong relationships with municipal clients, and expanding the firms footprint in the W-WW sector
Present at W-WW conferences and industry events, establishing the firms reputation and your expertise in the field
Lead project teams, ensuring high-quality project execution and client satisfaction
Mentor and develop senior and mid-level engineering staff, fostering growth and technical expertise within the firm
Manage complex projects from concept through completion, ensuring technical accuracy and budget adherence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of W-WW services across multiple locations
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree
in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field (Master\'s degree preferred but not required)
PE is required.
15+ years of experience in water and wastewater consulting engineering , with a strong track record in both treatment and conveyance systems
Extensive experience working with municipal clients and deep knowledge of municipal water and wastewater regulations and challenges
Recognized presence in the W-WW industry, with a history of presenting at industry conferences and events
Strong business development skills and the ability to drive project growth and profitability
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide senior and mid-level engineers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Salary
$160,000 - $190,000 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
