Provider Type Needed: Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm; 20 shifts per month; 2 to 3 procedure/OR days per week; shared call with 3 interventionalists; general call on weekends preceding or succeeding weekday coverage

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform electrophysiology procedures and studies

Manage device monitoring (loop recorders, pacemakers, ICDs)

Conduct device transmissions and reprogramming

Perform ablations (afib, aflutter, SVT, PVC, VT)

Insert pacemakers, ICDs, temporary pacers, and loop recorders

Execute generator changes, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and cardioversions

Provide inpatient care and telehealth services

Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)

Participate in general and weekend call rotation

Additional Information

Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology required

Fellowship training in Electrophysiology required

Active Iowa license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification required

Clean malpractice and background history required

Must be available full time (1 or more weeks per month)

New graduates welcome if Board Eligible
