seek an OBGYN Generalist. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a unified department across Jacobi and North Central Bronx (NCB). Both facilities are members of the largest public health system in the country and serve the diverse communities in the Bronx and lower Westchester County. Jacobi is a 457-bed tertiary referral center with a Level III NICU. NCB is a 232-bed community hospital with a loyal patient following. Jacobi and NCB are major clinical affiliates and teaching sites of the
Albert Einstein College of Medicine
and have recently developed a teaching relationship with
City University of New York .

Labor and Delivery coverage
GYN inpatient services on day and night shifts
Typical work week: 8-hour outpatient coverage and GYN surgery shifts; 12-hour shifts for L&D and GYN inpatient coverage
90% Clinical effort and 10% Administrative time for chart review, teaching, education
One 24-hour weekend call per month
Qualifications
Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Gynecologic ultrasound experience is highly regarded but not required.
Wages and Benefits
Annual Base Salary:
$296,000 (board eligible); $301,000 (board certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
Estimated total compensation:
$435,800 (board eligible) and $441,300 (board certified), which includes base salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $70,200
Projected bonus up to $40,000 (targeted to quality and productivity)
401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately; after one year, 7% additional contribution
Annual CME reimbursement
Generous PTO: Vacation, Sick, Holidays, and CME days
Medical, Prescription, and Dental coverage; life insurance and AD&D coverage: 2x salary up to $300,000, at no cost; additional voluntary coverage available
