Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Database Engineer to join their team. As a Database Engineer, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting the Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Maintain and optimize Oracle databases to ensure high performance and reliability
Troubleshoot and tune SQL performance issues efficiently
Develop and support NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra and DataStax tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions
Lead efforts in data transformation, data quality controls, and workload management
What's Needed?
Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Oracle database management
Proficiency in troubleshooting and tuning SQL performance issues
Experience with Cassandra, CQL, and DataStax tools
Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication technology
Strong understanding of core Cassandra concepts and troubleshooting skills
