Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hotside equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and steamers
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary repairs
Install new equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
Keep accurate records of service calls and equipment maintenance
Communicate with customers to provide updates on service calls and answer any questions or concerns
Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and assist with equipment demonstrations
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in hotside equipment technology
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required, technical school or certification in commercial kitchen equipment repair preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair, with a focus on hotside equipment
Strong knowledge of electrical, gas, and steam systems
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds
Compensation and benefits
Competitive hourly pay, $30-$35 per hour, with the potential for overtime
Annual salary range of $62,800 - $72,000, based on experience and qualifications
