is seeking an experienced board-certified Nurse Practitioner for a Part-time Monday - Friday with a flexible schedule opportunity in post-acute care in the Clarksville, Virginia area.
In this role, you will be responsible for following up on new patient admissions adhering to the established treatment plan, recertifying patient stays, rounding on current patients and updating treatment plan as needed, communicating with medical staff and the physician on-site to ensure consistent quality care for each patient, updating patient charts and prescribing medications as needed.
This is a
role compensated on RVU's. Medical Professional Liability coverage is provided. No call or weekend/after hours requirements.
To qualify for this role, you will need to have the following:>
Nurse Practitioner diploma from an accredited Nurse Practitioner curriculum.
Active and unencumber Nursing Virginia.
Active and unencumbered DEA license
3 or more years of experience of bedside patient care preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), diagnostic aptitude, excellent bedside manner, and collaborative/leadership skills
