Key Responsibilities
Ensure
manufacturing process reliability
by maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
Perform
preventative maintenance , including
annual PMs
and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems.
Follow and uphold
safety, health, and environmental
policies.
Operate
standard maintenance tools, electrical testing equipment , and power tools safely and effectively.
Read and interpret
mechanical and electrical schematics
with precision.
Troubleshoot and repair
480 VAC 3-phase motor controls, 120 VAC, and 24VDC control circuits .
Identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively.
Support
LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) certification and procedures .
Maintain and troubleshoot
PLC, analog, and digital control devices and sensors .
Work with
Allen-Bradley
programming and troubleshooting.
Assist in establishing and implementing
preventative maintenance procedures
for plant instrumentation and electronic-controlled equipment.
Accurately document
work orders, deficiencies, and corrective actions .
What We're Looking For
Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License (State of Michigan)
3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder Logic
Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude
Ability to read & interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and wiring schematics
Willingness to be part of the Hazmat team
Ability to work weekends and off-shift hours as needed
Preferred:
Experience in a food processing environment
Computer literacy with eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems
Ability to use calibration equipment (RTD calibrators, multi-meters, 4-20ma calibration units, etc.)
Experience with Allen-Bradley programming and troubleshooting
Familiarity with serial communications and industrial control devices
