SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER for TARGETED SERVICES ELEMENTARY SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Dates & Summer Hours
Thursday, June 11 set up day - 7.5 hours.
Monday - Thursday: June 15-18 and June 22-25.
Hours
8:45 am - 12:45 pm (exact hours may vary by site). Assignments will be made based on student needs.
4.0 hours per day, plus up to 7.5 hours for setup and training. Total 39.50 hours.
Sites
Itinerant between two of four Targeted Services Sites: Andover Elementary, Oxbow Creek Elementary, Sand Creek Elementary, Wilson Elementary.
Duties
Support the needs of students and families experiencing homelessness at each site. Collaborate with targeted services summer school staff as needed to support student engagement and reduce barriers to academic success. Spend two days per week at each of two designated Targeted Service school sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires current MN School Social Worker License.
Knowledge of McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
Experience working directly with students and families at risk of or who are experiencing homelessness.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Must be physically working in the building.
Rate of Pay
All Summer School Teachers will receive the hourly rate in accordance with the working agreement as stated in Article X, Section 6.
