with deep expertise in
Power BI
,
Databricks
, and modern data platforms to support enterprise-wide business intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will design and deliver high-impact dashboards and reporting solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

The Role
As a
Sr. IT Analyst
on the Business Intelligence team, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. You will partner closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure data is well-modeled, performant, and presented in a way that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
for enterprise stakeholders
Connect, model, and optimize data from
Databricks, SAP Datasphere, cloud platforms, databases, and APIs
Perform data transformation and preparation using
Power Query
to ensure accuracy and consistency
Build and maintain robust
data models
(star and snowflake schemas) optimized for performance and scalability
Develop advanced
DAX measures and calculations
to support business metrics and analysis
Collaborate with data engineers and architects on data sourcing, pipelines, and architecture
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights
Monitor, test, and tune dashboards and reports to ensure optimal performance with large datasets
Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot report, refresh, and performance issues
Document dashboards, data models, and development standards; support end-user training as needed
Stay current on Power BI capabilities, best practices, and BI trends
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience
in a BI, analytics, or IT analyst role with strong
Power BI
focus
Proficiency in
SQL, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques
Experience working with
large datasets
and optimizing models and queries for performance
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
data platforms
Familiarity with
data lakes, data warehouses, and dimensional modeling
Experience using
Git or other version control systems
for BI artifacts
Exposure to other BI tools such as
MicroStrategy, SAP BusinessObjects, or Looker
Hands-on experience with
Databricks
and
SAP Datasphere
Experience automating data workflows using
Power Automate, Python, or external ETL tools
